I see my practice as analogous to that of a naturalist’s, collecting (inorganic) samples of the surrounding environment. My interest in photography lies in its intersection between information and aesthetics. Though my work begins with a photograph, it also includes written anecdotes, sculptures, and videos. Together, they form an ostensible sociological study that oscillates between serious observation and irreverent humor. I am currently studying photography and sculpture at the Pratt Institute.
